Chris Rosson, Teach for America

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Chris Rosson grew up in a single-parent, low-income home in a high crime rate neighborhood. A first generation college student, he graduated summa cum laude from both William Jewell College with a BA in economics and business administration and Johns Hopkins University with an MA in international economics and international relations. He later completed honors tutorials at Oxford University and was named one of the top 20 college students in the nation as a member of USA Today’s All-Academic First Team (2006).

Prior to joining the TFA staff, Chris held numerous professional roles in the public and private sectors. Today, he proudly utilizes his diverse background and experiences to advocate on behalf of kids in his hometown.
